    There’s something other-worldly about that light on the lake. As if the kayak is setting off on a not entirely ‘usual’ voyage. Or perhaps has just returned…. (cue the music). What a fabulously eerie catch!

    This image just makes me long to be there, to set off on a quiet paddle into that golden light.

  4. This is so beautiful, Allyson. What a perfect launching spot between the two pots of flowers. And as others have said, how tranquil and inviting, that golden light!
